The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in South Korea has chosen three locations for this year's 'rural convergence industrial complex development project': Jangheung-gun (Korean beef), Gokseong-gun (tarro), and Goryeong-gun (strawberry) in North Gyeongsang Province. The project aims to create a rural convergence industry cluster by supporting facilities and equipment for livestock production, manufacturing/processing, distribution, experience, and tourism. A total of KRW 3 billion will be provided for the project over four years, with funding from the government and local sources. Additionally, Icheon City, Sejong City, Gyeonggi Province, and Gwangyang City have been selected for the 'regional unit network establishment support project', which will support networks between companies and organizations operating rural convergence industries.
