The Ministry of Water 2 in Taiwan has announced the plans to eliminate the requirement for beef exports to Macau to be no more than 8 months old and under 30 months in age. This decision, which was made after a 13-year hiatus in beef exports to Macau, is expected to boost the annual export value by approximately 70 million yen. The government is keen to position China as a key export destination and increase beef production, while also accelerating discussions with China to resume beef exports.
