The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine announced that farmers in the Kharkiv region will receive corn and sunflower seeds for spring sowing from the Japan International Cooperation Agency. The Japanese government has purchased $1 million worth of seeds and delivered them to Ukraine. Kharkiv farmers can apply for this assistance through the State Agrarian Register. In addition, an educational program for Ukrainian students at the Kharkiv National Agrarian University will be launched in collaboration with Japan.
