Japan will help Ukrainian farmers with $1 million worth of seeds

As part of spring sowing, farmers of the Kharkiv region will be able to receive corn and sunflower seeds from the Japan International Cooperation Agency. This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. The plan to support Ukrainian farmers was presented at a meeting with the Minister of Agriculture of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi, which was attended by representatives of the Office of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine The Japanese government has already purchased $1 million worth of seeds. They even had time to deliver them to Ukraine. In order to receive such assistance, Kharkiv farmers must fill out the appropriate application through the State Agrarian Register.
