A delegation of five Japanese enterprises visited the northern Vietnamese province of Hai Duong to explore opportunities for increasing lychee exports to Japan. The delegation inspected a lychee growing area in Thanh Ha District and a processing facility of Ameii Vietnam. They expressed a high regard for the quality of Thanh Ha lychees and sought technological collaboration for processing fresh lychees into value-added products like juice, alcohol, and cosmetics. Hai Duong's leaders welcomed the interest and expressed the desire for closer partnerships for quality control and export promotion. The Hai Duong Department of Industry and Trade shared plans to expand its product range beyond fresh lychees, signaling a potential boost in lychee-based food and beverage exports to Japan.
