A trial by Inagro to evaluate six rose varieties for supply in florets resulted in mediocre overall quality. The earliest and highest yielding variety was Java, but it had lower leaf formation. Giewont was the most vigorous and scored the best. Wonder showed promise, while Fortaleza was less firm at the bottom. The new variety HMC 33295 had excellent quality but was difficult to harvest and suffered from bottom rot. The long harvesting trajectory lasted up to 36 days due to the varying maturity of the different varieties. The trial, planted on heavy sandy loam soil, was not irrigated due to poor growing weather.
