JBS reinforces that the decision to invest US$ 150 million in the local production of beef, poultry, and lamb in Oman is aligned with the food security strategy and the construction of supply chains close to the consumer. "The post-pandemic has shown that relying solely on exports may not be competitive. The local production will be implemented from the beginning of the supply chain, including animal confinement, processing, and, in the case of poultry, chick production through local partnerships.
