Jeju Island finalizes the basic plan for fostering the food tech industry.

Jeju Special Self-Governing Province is focusing on fostering the food tech industry, which combines clean agricultural products and advanced technology, as the future food industry. The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province held the first Food Tech Industry Development Committee and confirmed the "Basic Plan for the Development of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Food Tech Industry (2025~2029)." This basic plan sets a long-term goal until 2035 with the vision of "Promoting Jeju's Clean Future Food and Glocal Food Tech Industry."
