Jeju Island, vegetable cultivation intention survey conducted

Jeju Special Self-Governing Province announced that it will conduct a ‘2025-2026 Major Vegetable Cultivation Intention Survey’ to adjust vegetable supply and demand and stabilize farm income. The survey targets a total of 18 vegetable types, including 12 winter vegetables that have not yet been sown, such as winter radish, cabbage, and carrots, to investigate cultivation intentions, and 6 summer crops that have already been sown, such as watermelon, melon, and pumpkin, to confirm cultivation areas. The province plans to sample more than 10% of all farms by region and crop, and will conduct a visit or telephone survey of farms with the cooperation of village heads and village chiefs until the 30th of this month.
