The Jeollanam-do Ocean and Fisheries Science Institute announced that from the 11th, it will operate a mobile medical clinic for three days to prevent diseases and minimize damage, coinciding with the arrival of the high-temperature summer season and the full-scale stocking of rockfish and sea bream fingerlings in Wando's offshore fish farming areas. The mobile medical clinic will be conducted jointly with the South Sea Fisheries Research Institute of the National Fisheries Research Institute, targeting 44 fish farms across approximately 58 hectares in the Wando Shinji and Gogeum area where fish farms are concentrated. During this on-site medical examination, precise tests for bacterial, parasitic, and viral diseases will be conducted on the health status of farmed fish, and customized diagnoses and prescriptions will be provided according to the fishermen's requests.
