Jeonnam Agricultural Technology Institute (Director Kim Haeng-ran) announced on the 15th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Gwangju Livestock Cooperatives (Chairman Kim Jae-pil) to strengthen the competitiveness of the black goat industry through a "Joint Research on the Development of Black Goat Specialized Feed." The main contents of this agreement include: ▲ development of specialized feed for black goats, ▲ joint research and education on improved feeding, management, breeding, and environmental management technologies, and ▲ mutual cooperation for the cultivation of the Jeonnam premium black goat brand. In particular, the agreement aims to develop specialized feed optimized for the nutrition and physiology of black goats, targeting the production of uniform quality black goats and the increase of farmers' income. The Jeonnam Agricultural Technology Institute has already established a "Five-Year Comprehensive Plan for Black Goat Industrialization Research" and is working on breed improvement.
