Jeonnam Province participated in the "52nd LA Korean Festival" held at the Seoul International Park in Los Angeles, USA, for four days until the 19th, along with 20 agricultural, livestock, and fishery food export companies, and introduced Jeonnam's excellent agricultural, livestock, and fishery products, garnering significant local response, according to the report. The LA Korean Festival is the largest Korean festival in the Americas, an iconic Korean ethnic cultural event that attracts 200,000 visitors annually. This year, too, many visitors, including Koreans and locals, flocked to the festival, which proceeded in a lively atmosphere. This festival featured various items, including Jeonnam's representative export products such as seaweed, kimchi, traditional sauces like doenjang and gochujang, shiitake mushrooms, green tea, Korean confectionery, sikhe (fermented rice drink), and seafood products such as dried fish, jeotgal (fermented salted seafood), and abalone.
