Jeonnam Province announced that Jangseong Jinwon Agricultural Cooperative and Muan Yeongheung Agricultural Corporation were selected for the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' next year's Agricultural Products Distribution Center (APC) support bidding project, securing a total project cost of 33 billion won, including 10 billion won in national funds. The Agricultural Products Distribution Center support project is a program that supports the construction of smart distribution facilities with combined functions such as collection, sorting, storage, and shipment of agricultural products. It focuses on increasing distribution efficiency and farmers' income through standardization and commercialization of agricultural products from the production areas and adjusting shipment timing. The total scale for Jangseong Jinwon Agricultural Cooperative is 24 billion won. It will newly construct major facilities including an agricultural product collection center, sorting center, low-temperature storage facility, and sorting machines, among other things.
