A special campaign was launched by the Panshi Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center in 2022 to control and purify brucellosis and bovine tuberculosis in dairy cows and dairy sheep. The campaign involved sanitizing 49 dairy sheep and 10 dairy cows from six farms, as well as publicizing knowledge on zoonotic disease prevention and control. The goal is to ensure public health safety, provide safe milk to citizens, and ensure the sustainable development of the animal husbandry industry by enhancing farmers' awareness of zoonotic diseases and improving self-protection awareness. Brucellosis and bovine tuberculosis are zoonotic infectious diseases that can affect animals and humans, and their sampling, testing, and publicity of zoonotic disease prevention and control knowledge are essential in purifying milk sources and eliminating the potential transmission risk of these diseases.
