A special rectification operation was launched by the County Agricultural and Rural Affairs Bureau, Animal Health Supervision Office, and Law Enforcement Brigade in Jinping County to crack down on illegal slaughter of livestock and poultry in the urban-rural fringe area of Jinhe Town. The working group conducted inspections and urged merchants to fulfill their responsibilities for the quality and safety of livestock and poultry products, while also providing education on laws and regulations related to livestock and poultry slaughter. The three departments required merchants to strictly implement designated slaughter and centralized quarantine systems to ensure the quality and safety of livestock and poultry meat on the market.
