Josep Artigas, from the cotton brokerage Artigas Cotton (Spain) and Artigas do Brasil, is the new president of CICCA.

On October 9, during the ICA Trade Event 2026 in Dubai, Spanish businessman Josep Artigas, from the cotton brokerage Artigas Cotton (Spain) and Artigas do Brasil, was elected president of the Committee for International Cooperation between Cotton Associations (CICCA). The ceremony marked the beginning of a two-year term at the helm of the international entity, which currently brings together 17 cotton associations and is based on the principles of defending the sanctity of contracts, good commercial practices, and the values of cooperation in the global fiber trade.
