Junín, Peru: Hailstorm affected 395 hectares of crops in Sapallanga

The agricultural brigade of the Sapallanga Agrarian Office, belonging to the Junín Regional Directorate of Agriculture, reported that approximately 395 hectares of crops were affected by a recent intense hailstorm in several areas of the Sapallanga district, including San Pedro, Los Ángeles, San Bernardo , Miluchaca and Miraflores. During the field inspection in the aforementioned statistical sectors, the brigade confirmed that the affected crops include starchy corn, corn, potatoes, broad beans and peas.
