In a collaborative effort to support residents affected by natural disasters in the district of Perené, Chanchamayo province, Junín region, the Chanchamayo Agrarian Agency, the National Institute of Agrarian Innovation (INIA), and the District Municipality of Perené distributed 1,300 plantain and banana seedlings of various varieties. These seedlings, cultivated through in vitro methods in the INIA plant tissue laboratory from high-quality, pest-resistant mother plants, are intended to act as seedbeds for further propagation. This initiative is part of the broader agrarian revolution efforts, with technical management provided by the collaborating institutions and the beneficiaries themselves.
