Peru: Renewal of coffee plantations in Chanchamayo with 72,500 high-quality seedlings

Within the framework of the Agrarian Revolution policy, the Chanchamayo Agrarian Agency of the Junín Regional Directorate of Agriculture has produced 72,500 high-quality coffee seedlings to renew coffee fields in the Santa Isabel, La Aurora, Marancocha and Condorbamba sectors. The production of these seedlings was carried out through coffee flying nurseries, using varieties resistant to diseases and with an excellent cup profile. The seedlings are ready to be transferred to their final fields in January 2025. With this initiative, not only is productivity boosted, but the commitment to continue working for the sustainable development of the coffee sector is also reaffirmed.
