Karakolev: We do not agree that the linked support should be proven with invoices.

We will appeal Regulation 3 if it remains in this form. If necessary, we will take it to court a second time, but we will show the administration that this is not the way to do it. We absolutely do not accept that Bulgaria will be the second country in the European Union to prove linked support with invoices. This was stated by Simeon Karakolev, co-chair of the National Sheep and Goat Association, to Agri.bg. Karakolev's reaction came after the Ministry of Agriculture published for public discussion a Draft Regulation amending and supplementing Regulation No. 3 of 2023 on the conditions and procedures for implementing interventions in the form of direct payments included in the Strategic Plan, for checks, payment reductions, and the procedure for imposing administrative sanctions.
