Kazakhstan Honey Gains Entry to Europe: First Domestic Producer Included in EU Registry

Kazakhstan has made a significant step in developing the export potential of the beekeeping industry: SUN-BEE ALTAI LLP, located in the Glubokovsky District of East Kazakhstan Region, has become the first honey producer in the country included in the official European Union registry — Honey and other apiculture products establishments (HON). This was reported by the press service of the Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As clarified, honey export from Kazakhstan to EU countries will be possible from March 12, 2025, after the publication of the corresponding European Commission resolution on February 21, 2025.
