Kazakhstan is planning to increase its wheat exports to China by up to 1 million tons per year. The country's Minister of Trade and Integration, Serik Zhumangarin, made this known during the Kazakh-Chinese business forum in Almaty. To facilitate this, Zhumangarin has given instructions for a railway train of grain to be directed to the bonded zone of China. The Ministry also intends to create a common Subcommittee on Agriculture with China to resolve mutual trade issues promptly.
