Kazakhstan is advancing its grain deep processing sector with several significant projects underway. Qostanai Grain Industry Company aims to produce lysine, gluten, bioethanol, and carbon dioxide by 2027, creating 650 jobs. Kazkrahmal Company's corn processing project, due in 2026, is expected to generate 500 jobs. A collaboration between a Turkish company and Qatar Hassad Food Company in Astana will result in a plant producing various products for export by 2026, creating 250 jobs. The government is backing these projects with substantial support, including investment subsidies, reduced loan interest rates, and tax incentives. So far, three out of eight planned plants are operational, and the rest are in various stages of construction.
