The Bureau of National Statistics published the prices of agricultural crops for January 2026. According to official data, the average price of wheat for the month remained virtually unchanged. Over the year, it increased by almost 10%, reports the agency APK-Inform. The average prices for grain crops in January were as follows (per ton): Wheat – 80.8 thousand tenge Corn – 71.5 thousand tenge Barley – 59.6 thousand tenge Rye – 59.9 thousand tenge Oats – 48.5 thousand tenge Buckwheat – 104.4 thousand tenge Lentils – 161.7 thousand tenge Peas – 86 thousand tenge Soybeans – 203.3 thousand tenge. The highest prices for wheat were in Aktobe (92 thousand tenge), Kyzylorda (90.3 thousand tenge), and Karaganda (88.1 thousand tenge) regions. The lowest prices were in Pavlodar (71.2 thousand tenge), North Kazakhstan (76.9 thousand tenge), and Kostanay (77.9 thousand tenge) regions.
