Kazakhstan's Food Corporation continues to accept grains and oilseeds under the direct procurement program. As noted by the Food Corporation, applications submitted under the program are considered on a priority basis. Suppliers can expect expedited processing and prompt financing, allowing farmers to prepare timely for spring field work. According to the Food Corporation, in 2026 the list of procured crops has been expanded. In addition to wheat and barley, the national operator is accepting sunflower, flax, and buckwheat. The expansion of the crop range allows for more agricultural entities to be covered and stimulates diversification of sowing areas. As of February 16, 2026, farmers have delivered 114 thousand tons of grain products to the Food Corporation's resources.
