Russia: KCR will provide “Agrostartups” to 36 farmers in 2024

In 2024, Karachay-Cherkessia plans to provide support for farm development to 36 beginning farmers under the Agrostartup program, head of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic Rashid Temrezov said on Wednesday. “Over the past 5 years in Karachay-Cherkessia, more than 400 beginning farmers have received state support under the Agrostartup project. This year we plan to support 36 more,” Temrezov wrote in his Telegram channel. The head of the region noted that along with the development of farms in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, new jobs are being created in rural areas. As part of the Agrostartup, more than 430 jobs have been created in the republic since 2019.
