"Kernel" completed the sowing campaign for the 2026 harvest on an expanded land bank, which grew to 530,000 hectares following the acquisition of ENSELKО. This is reported by Latifundist.com, citing the company's report for the third quarter of the 2026 fiscal year. It is noted that due to unfavorable weather at the end of winter and the beginning of spring, part of the winter crops had to be resown. Despite this, corn remained the main crop in the sowing structure, occupying 48% of all areas. According to the report, "Kernel" sowed 255,000 hectares with corn, which is 49% more year-over-year. Wheat areas amount to 106,000 hectares, however, its share in the sowing structure decreased to 20% from 26% a year earlier.
