Indonesia: Kewpie asked to adopt a global cage-free egg policy

Act For Farmed Animals (AFFA) activists took to the streets outside the Kewpie office on Friday (12/7). They urged Kewpie, a Japanese mayonnaise company and the second largest egg consumer in its market, to implement a global cage-free egg policy, in all its operating areas, including in Indonesia. "Kewpie does not yet have a global commitment to change its egg supply chain from cage cages, including in Indonesia, even though they have started to move away from this cruel practice in several parts of America and Europe.
