On April 11, 2021, a joint inspection was conducted by the Department of Livestock and Animal Health of Khanh Hoa province, the City Police of Cam Ranh, and other relevant authorities, revealing several non-compliances in the management of shrimp hatcheries. The inspection led to the imposition of a fine on Hoang Quan Aquaculture and Forwarding Co., Ltd. for not adhering to the required quarantine procedures for imported animals. Other hatcheries were also found to be non-compliant with regulations regarding the preservation, screening, and quarantine of seed, and the origin of shrimp seed imported from Singapore and the Philippines was not clearly documented.
