The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam and the Korean Embassy in Vietnam have initiated a project to establish a smart and safe agricultural product value chain in Vietnam. Funded by a $2.8 million grant from the Korean government, the project will be implemented at the Potato, Vegetable and Flower Research Center in Da Lat City from January 2022 to December 2024. The project will focus on improving the production, storage, and circulation of cherry tomatoes, sweet peppers, and strawberries using advanced techniques and a Korean smart farm model. The project will also develop software systems for farming operation and data analysis, and will transfer technical advances and provide training to improve capacity.
