The Korea Food Safety Association and the Korea Vegan Certification Agency have partnered to promote a better understanding of the vegan food industry and improve public health. The collaboration will involve information exchange on food safety, joint certification and training, and advice on food safety laws and regulations. The first vegan certification agency in Korea, established in 2018, manages a large number of vegan certified products and conducts certification, education, and research on vegan food, cosmetics, and household goods. The agency also collaborates with international certification agencies, animal protection groups, and government bodies.
