From March 28 to 31, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs of South Korea undertook a series of initiatives in Hong Kong to promote Korean beef, capitalizing on the region's fascination with Korean pop culture and its strategic market position. These efforts included business consultations, educational events for hotel chefs, cultural promotions, and a business agreement ceremony aimed at expanding Korean beef exports and developing new products. Additionally, the ministry participated in 'KCON HONG KONG 2024', where they operated a Korean beef promotion center and a ready-to-eat restaurant, receiving favorable feedback. These activities are part of a broader strategy to diversify the Korean beef market in Hong Kong, introducing low-fat cuts alongside traditional high-quality grilled products, to boost exports and support the stability of Korean beef farms.
