In a notable effort to enhance the dairy farming industry in the Sindhuli region of Nepal, 75 out of 101 dairy cows donated by farmers at the Seoul Milk Cooperative and other sponsors from Korea have been confirmed pregnant, with the first calf born in February. This initiative, spearheaded by Hepher Korea and supported by both Korean and Nepalese officials, celebrated a significant milestone at the '2023 Business Performance Report and Appreciation Event' in Seoul. The project, which saw cows like Subini and Mandira expected to give birth in June, represents a hopeful future for local Nepalese farmers. Hepher Korea CEO Lee Hye-won's planned visit to Nepal on May 15 underscores the ongoing commitment to this cross-border agricultural development effort.
