The article reports on the preliminary results of the harvest season in a specific region, detailing that 2.158 million tons of grain were reaped from 844.4 thousand hectares, marking the fourth-highest gross harvest in Siberia. The region's farmers, particularly those in Uzhursky, Nazarovsky, Balakhtinsky districts, and others, achieved the highest grain and leguminous crop yields, with Uzhursky District leading at 40.6 centners per hectare. The region also led in rapeseed harvest for the sixth year in a row, with 458.6 thousand tons. Besides, 116.2 thousand tons of potatoes and 29.8 thousand tons of vegetables were collected. The harvesting faced challenges due to adverse weather conditions, leading to damage to crops, with some farms seeking insurance compensation. The region is now preparing for the new agricultural season, having sown 219 thousand tons of grain and leguminous seeds and having plowed 763.5 thousand hectares of fallow land.
