The milk price of 42.06 euros applies for an annual supply of 1,000,000 kilos of milk and standard contents of 4.45 percent fat and 3.58 percent protein. The quality surcharge of 0.50 euros and pasture surcharge of 2 euros per 100 kilos of milk are also included in the price. Per component, the price is set at 3.70 euros for fat and 7.40 euros for protein. The appreciation premium of 0.50 euros and the sustainability surcharge of up to 1.20 euros per 100 kilos are not yet included in the milk price. Royal Lactalis Leerdammer pays, in addition to the standard milk price, a quantum surcharge of up to 2.50 euros for monthly deliveries over 100,000 kilos of milk. All surcharges are paid once a month, simultaneously with the milk payment.
