The agricultural land market in Brazil still presents a history of informality, unlike the urban environment, which has clear standards of price per square meter, construction, and zoning. Moving trillions of reais per year, the sector is under increasing pressure for professionalization, technical security, and transparency in negotiations. To face this scenario, the first Brazilian training focused on the evaluation of agricultural land based on the natural aptitude of the soil by clay typology was held in Ribeirão Preto (SP). The initiative integrates soil science, territorial intelligence, and the rural real estate market, promoting an innovative method for calculating the Bare Land Value (BLV) based on technical soil data.
