Peruvian lemon exports have seen a significant increase in the first nine months of 2022, with a total of 23,170 tons shipped earning US$26 million, marking a 32% increase in volume and 49% increase in value compared to the previous year. The United States and the Netherlands were the primary importers, receiving nearly 60% of the total exports. The United States saw a 350% increase in volume and 387% increase in value, with the Netherlands importing 133% more tons and 77% more value, albeit at a lower price per kilogram. Chile rounded out the top three importers, but saw a 27% decrease in volume and a 24% decrease in value.
