In the first four months of 2024, Russian agriculture experienced a 5.9% increase in lending compared to the same period in 2023, totaling over 484 billion rubles. This follows a 7.7% increase in 2023. The highest amount of funding was recorded in March and April, each reaching around 158 billion rubles. As of May 1, 2024, the total agricultural accounts payable reached 2.697 trillion rubles, showing an increase from the previous year. However, overdue debt decreased to 67.587 billion rubles from 77.028 billion rubles during the same timeframe.
