The Conjunctural Report released by Emater/RS-Ascar on Thursday (29) indicates that lettuce production in the Taquari Valley faces impacts from high temperatures in some of the monitored areas. In the administrative region of Lajeado, in the municipality of Bom Princípio, losses associated with heat were recorded, with effects on the visual standard of the plants. According to the survey, "the lettuce crop has been registering losses associated with high temperatures, such as a reduction in the visual standard of the plants."
