In the first half of 2024, Peruvian agricultural exports reached US$ 4,309 million, marking an 11.8% increase from the previous year and contributing 13% to the country's total exports. Despite a 14.8% drop in volume, Lima and Ica were the leading departments in agricultural exports, contributing 48.8% to the total with US$ 2,105 million. Other departments such as La Libertad, Piura, and Lambayeque also contributed to the exports. Cajamarca, Cusco, and Ayacucho saw significant growth in their agricultural exports, primarily driven by coffee, cocoa beans, quinoa, and avocados.
