Livestock farming system combines management and sustainability to boost production in the countryside

Increasing meat production in the same area, without opening new frontiers and with sustainable management, is the goal of the "meat farming" concept, a model that is gaining traction among ranchers from various regions of the country. The proposal combines agricultural and livestock practices, seeking greater profitability and efficiency in land use. In Rio Grande do Sul, the results are striking, as properties that apply the system can reach 980 kg of meat per hectare, indices far above the national average. In Lavras do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, the farm of ranchers Davi Farina and Maria Eduarda Farina is an example of the practical application of the concept.
