[Korea Farmers' Newspaper Reporter Ahn Hyeong-jun] A bill has been proposed to exempt the application of spraying standards for the use of fermented livestock manure liquid fertilizer manufactured in facilities registered for fertilizer production to promote the utilization of livestock manure resources. Representative Moon Geum-ju of the Democratic Party of Korea (Goheung, Boseong, Jangheung, and Gangjin counties of Jeonnam Province) introduced the "Partial Amendment of the Act on the Management and Use of Livestock Manure" on the 19th, with this content as its core. The reason for proposing this amendment is that, under current law, livestock manure liquid fertilizer is registered as a fertilizer under the fertilizer process standard, but, unlike chemical fertilizers, it is subject to excessive spraying standards (Livestock Manure Act), which is not equitable.
