Malaysia's palm oil production is projected to decrease slightly to 19.2 million tonnes in the 2024/25 marketing year, down from 19.6 million tonnes in the previous season, according to the USDA’s Gain Report. The harvest area is expected to remain stable at 5.13 million hectares. Palm oil exports are also expected to decrease, from 16.2 million tonnes in the previous period to 15.7 million tonnes in 2024/25.
