Durian sellers indicate that the Malaysian durian maturation peak typically continues from June to September, but this year, due to climate changes, the peak period has been delayed until July. At the beginning of this year's season, with low production, durian prices were high, but prices will significantly decrease in July.
When durians mature in Malaysia's Pahang and Johor states, the official peak season begins. This year's peak season is relatively short, and specific pricing will depend on weather conditions.
