Mandatory labeling of canned fish and seafood will begin in Russia on December 1, 2024

This decision, approved by a government decree in May, obliges manufacturers to enter product data into the Honest Sign system. The implementation of this system allows tracking the path of products from production to the point of sale. Pavel Bulgakov, CEO of the Callisto Group of Companies, noted that the new initiative will increase product safety for consumers and improve control over storage and transportation conditions.
