According to statistics from the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), in April 2025, Vietnam exported 23,271 tons of black pepper and 3,319 tons of white pepper. Cumulatively for the first four months of the year, total pepper exports reached 74,250 tons, valued at over $510.6 million. Compared to the same period in 2024, export volume decreased by 10.6%, but value increased significantly, reflecting a notable rise in global market prices.
