Mapa highlights advances in sustainable livestock farming

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) participated, this Wednesday (12), in one of the main moments of the AgriZone programming, during COP30, in Belém (PA): the panel "The Future of Sustainable Meat: Decarbonization Trajectory 2025–2050", held in the arena of the venue. On the occasion, the launch of the study "Decarbonization Trajectories for Beef Livestock 2025–2050", prepared by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV Agro), through the Center for Agribusiness Studies, at the request of the production sector, took place. The document presents scenarios and possible paths to reduce the net emissions of Brazilian beef cattle, aligning the meat chain with global climate and sustainability goals.
