The Russian state register of breeding achievements has approved 10 new varieties and hybrids of oilseed crops, including soybeans, sunflower, rapeseed, and mustard, developed by the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Oilseeds. These varieties, such as soybean varieties “Elisei” and “Lyubava”, and sunflower variety “Kremen”, are designed to withstand Russia's harsh climatic conditions and are resistant to diseases. The article also discusses the 'flint' sunflower variety, which is early ripening and resistant to fusarium and dry rot, and the 'Suri' and 'Surinate' hybrids, which are resistant to herbicides, broomrape, and downy mildew.
