The Brazilian government has approved the export of setaria seeds to Colombia, a resilient forage species used to feed beef cattle. This comes as Colombia's market was valued at US$1.3 billion for Brazilian agricultural exports in 2023. This approval is part of a larger effort, with 270 openings in 61 destinations since 2023, making it the 192th opening this year for Brazilian agribusiness, with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE) working together to achieve these results.
