Mato Grosso: beef exports advance by 17.8% in 2024

According to the weekly analysis of the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea), released this Monday (27), the exports of beef from Mato Grosso maintain a positive performance throughout 2024. The volume shipped by the state this year is 4.66 thousand times higher than that recorded at the beginning of the historical series in 1997, established by the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex). In the same period, the national advance was 1.73 thousand times. From January to September, Mato Grosso exported 17.85% more beef compared to the same period in 2023. According to Imea, "the annual result tends to be even more robust, considering the current pace of shipments."
