Despite a decrease in beef export prices, the Argentine beef industry has seen a 10% increase in volume and a 33.6% increase in revenue in the first ten months of the year, reaching 751,844 tons worth US$ 3,024 million. This performance was noted even amid a decline in shipments to the main destinations in the last six months. The average export price in October was US$ 5,026 per ton, which is US$ 1,300 lower than the peak in April. China remains the largest market, contributing 76.5% of the export volumes, although there has been a drop in the price per ton. The European market is also facing a similar situation due to a decrease in the price of the Hilton Quota. However, giblets and beef preparations have performed well, with sales reaching 99.5 thousand tons, valued at US$ 198.9 million, at an average export price of around US$1,800 per ton.
